Inspired by the vintage flannel shirts that have been worn, washed, repaired and loved until they were little more than scraps by the time they found their way into the hands of the Wythe team.
The colours, patterns and weights are based on American-made flannel shirts from the 1920s through to the 1960s. Made from 100% Indian-grown cotton, the fabric is spun, dyed and woven at a family-owned mill in India. The result is a midweight flannel with a soft brushed finish on both sides, making it comfortable enough to wear throughout the year.
The construction takes plenty of cues from the originals, with Wythe's signature Feather Pleats through the rear yoke for extra movement, triple-needle chainstitched seams through the yoke and side seams, and custom-shaped natural corozo buttons based on original 1940s workwear buttons. The unlined, unfused collar is designed to sit naturally worn open, or works just as well with a bolo tie or bandana.
Cut with a little extra room, your usual size is designed to be worn on its own or open over a tee or thermal. Size down for a slimmer fit.
