UK MAINLAND SHIPPING

All orders must be received by 12pm to comply with estimated delivery times. 
We try to keep shipping costs as low as possible by passing on the prices we pay directly to you. We fund our sustainable packaging independently. We often recycle and reuse wherever we can to ensure there is no waste and to maintain a plastic-free service. 


All orders are processed within 1 working day (Tuesday to Friday) and delivered approximately within the stated time frames. Whilst we aim for orders to be delivered in this time frame, it is not 100% guaranteed as courier services are ultimately out of our control. On the very rare occasion that our shipping services are delayed due to the courier's fault, as a small business, we are unable to take responsibility for their service.


NON-UK Mainland

We ship to the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland using a next working day service via DPD priced at £10. You will receive shipping updates via email and text and will be provided with a delivery window time.
Please note if you place an order on a Friday after 12pm your order will not ship until Monday as this is the next working day.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We are pleased to offer a trackable international shipping service to Europe and the USA. Each product on our website details the weight, which when added to the cart automatically determines the correct shipping option.

Please allow up to 5 business days for delivery to Europe and 7 days to the USA. Auteur does not accept responsibility for additional charges such as import duty, tax and custom charges that customers may incur when orders arrive in the designated country. Failure to pay these charges may result in your parcel being returned to us. Should this happen, we reserve the right not to refund the shipping costs paid by the customer and will deduct any customs, tax and import charges incurred from the order total that we may occur as a result of the package being returned to us. 


POSTAGE DISCLAIMER

Should an order be returned to us if the recipient was unable to receive the order, we reserve the right to charge our standard shipping cost of £6.00 for the item to be redelivered for UK mainland orders and £10 for Non-UK mainland orders. Please note that all orders have a maximum of 3 delivery attempts before the order is returned to us. 

RETURNS

We really hope you are 100% happy with your purchase from Auteur; however, if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied and wish to return your order, you can do so by following these simple steps. 

Online Store Return Policy for a full refund or exchange on full-priced items is strictly 14 days from the customer receiving the item.  

Refunds or Exchanges will not be issued on items where the request to return or exchange your order is made outside our 14-day policy. Your 14-day return policy begins on the day you receive your order. 

Please note we do not offer refunds or exchanges on SALE or discounted items unless faulty or damaged in transit. 

1. Please contact us via email at alex@auteur.store or via our website Contact Page to let us know you would like to return your order, and please detail your reason for return. We aim to reply to all return emails within 24 hours unless our online store is closed for vacation or it is the holiday season, which will be displayed on our homepage. Please do not contact us through Instagram or Facebook regarding returns.

2. Please securely package your return order, ensuring it is in its original, unused condition.

3. Ensure you send your return via a trackable postage service as we do not take responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post. With regret, we do not offer exchanges on international orders. 

4. Once we receive your order, a refund or exchange will be processed within 1 business day and credited back to the card you used to make the original purchase within 5 business days. 

5. Please note that as a small business, we are unable to compensate for postage costs and therefore do not include them in our refund policy. This includes the postage you originally paid to receive the item (unless the item has been lost or damaged in transit) and the return postage to send the item(s) back to us.  

In-store returns

For items tried on in person at Autuer Store, returns are accepted for exchange or store credit only and must be returned within 14 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required, and items must be returned unworn with all labels attached. Please handle items with care to prevent damage. Damaged, altered, or unlabeled returns will not be accepted, except for faulty goods. A restocking fee may apply if items require cleaning or preparation for resale.

    Christmas Returns

    We are extending our Christmas returns policy for items purchased online and in store between 1st December and 24th December until the 10th January.
