Sugar Cane have been crafting there take on the infamous Levis 501 since the 1980s. The 1947 model is based as the name suggests on the 1947 -501. The 47 model is famed for its straight leg and medium to hise rise and flattering fit on most body types.
This release features a heavily washed version of the 1947 model in black denim. The appeal lies not only in the fading of the denim fabric and the puckering of the seams, but also in the aging of the cotton stitching, leather patch, and metal parts. The buttons, rivets, hidden rivets, and regular straight silhouette remain the same, while the length has been standardized to eliminate the need for hemming.
