orSlow denim is specially developed by carefully analysing vintage jeans from the early 1950s, recreating the texture, character, and fading associated with denim from the era. Woven in Japan on traditional shuttle looms using yarn spun on a 1953 spinning machine, the fabric has a naturally irregular surface that produces an authentic, uneven fade over time.
Constructed with cotton thread stitching designed to absorb indigo bleed, the jeans develop even more character with wear. True to original mid-century denim construction, the seams are designed to twist naturally with age, reflecting the details found in vintage workwear.
The silhouette offers a roomier fit than the standard 105 model, paired with a soft yet substantial handle that gives the denim a beautifully lived-in feel from the outset.
