Buzz Rickson's Combat Tropical Jungle Jacket
The Buzz Rickson’s Tropical Combat Jacket is a faithful reproduction of the U.S. military’s “Jungle Fatigue” uniform, developed for use in Vietnam’s hot and humid conditions. Made from lightweight, quick-drying cotton poplin, it was designed for comfort, durability, and practicality in tropical environments.
Based on WWII parachute coats, the design evolved through several iterations to improve functionality in the field — most notably the move from exposed to concealed buttons to prevent snagging in dense jungle terrain.
