The Scout jacket from Californian brand Iron & Resin is what they call their 3/4 year jacket as you can wear it for 8 months of the year quite easily.
It takes it's style inspiration from the classic Type3 style denim jacket but in a much more rugged form, the body is slightly extended for the essential hand warmer pockets.
It's made from a substantial British Millerain waxed cotton canvas which will do a sterling job of keeping you warm and dry and finished with a contrast black corduroy collar.
Maybe the star of the show is the part you can't see, the beautiful native style lining.
