Groovin High’s Sports Jacket takes direct inspiration from the widely worn sports jackets of the 1930s — a silhouette seen across the United States often called a half-belt. Faithfully recreated and expertly executed in Japan, this jacket captures the character and practicality of original interwar sportswear.
Cut and sewn in Japan from a dense melton wool blend, the jacket features a host of period-correct details. Horsehide trim reinforces the pockets and cuffs, while a zip front with Talon hardware is paired with two slash pockets and a chest pocket finished with a ball-chain zipper. A classic half-belt back and side cinch adjusters shape the fit, staying true to 1930s tailoring. Inside, a contrasting burgundy rayon lining completes the look, adding a refined finish to this timeless piece of vintage-inspired outerwear.
